Born 2000 years ago, Arlon is a Gallo-Roman city with a prestigious historical, religious and architectural heritage.
Arlon is the capital of the province of Luxembourg and one of the oldest belgian cities. The rich Gallo-Roman collections of the Archaeological Museum, the remains of the Roman fortifications, baths and roads bear witness of its ancient origins and attract hundreds of tourists every year.
Arlon also benefits from remarkable natural places (the spring of the Semois river, the arboretum and some natural reserves in the villages of Heinsch, Fouches and Sampont).
