The opportunities as a scientific expert are numerous and varied. Depending on their aspirations, graduates in environmental sciences and management can choose to become a specialist or a generalist in the field of the environment.

Becoming a researcher

Some graduates turn to research. Most of the time and at the beginning of their career, the profession of researcher takes the form of a doctorate. The Department welcomes about twenty doctoral students each year, many of whom are active in one of the research teams.
