Since its creation in 1971, the Fondation Universitaire Luxembourgeoise (FUL) invested in the future by choosing the environment as a unique theme of teaching and research. Awareness of sustainable development issues hasn't stopped growing since then. These issues have become a major concern for scientific research as well as for the entire population.

Integrated into the University of Liège and its Faculty of Sciences in 2004, Arlon Campus Environnement is internationally recognized for its interdisciplinary approach of environmental issues and its expertise in environmental sciences and management, particularly in developing countries.

The campus keeps developing cross-border cooperation in the Greater Region and continues its long tradition of cooperation with developing countries.
