Students have 2 options for printing, photocopying and scanning on campus:

  • The printer-photocopier-scanner in the Campus LIBRARY (for small-volume printing and photocopying): click on the link above for more information.
  • The printer available on the first floor of the administration building, near the Cosmos room (small and large volumes): see below.

How do I print?

There are several ways to start printing:

  • Print from a computer in the Cosmos computer room or from one of the two computers in the library. Connect to the Internet on one of these computers with your ULIEGE login and start printing. You will be asked for your print code when you start printing.
  • Print PDF documents and images (only these two formats, not WORD.docx, etc) from a USB key (formatted in FAT32, not NTFS)by inserting the USB key into the printer and entering your code.
  • Print from your PC or smartphone if and only if
    • Your device is connected to the university WiFi network with your ULIEGE credentials.
    • The driver is installed on your device. The driver to install is available here. No support will be provided to help you install this driver.
    • Your printing code (with enough credit) is entered in the driver. You will therefore need to configure the driver with your printing code beforehand.

iconeInfo MONEY-SAVING TIPS

When you select color printing, the machine prints in color only those pages where it detects a color element. When printing a report with many pages, some of which must be printed in color, make sure you don't use superfluous color on pages that can be printed in black and white (e.g. a blue link or colored title line). This way, when you start printing in color, you won't unnecessarily pay the color price for these pages.

Photocopying a blank page costs the usual price of a copy. If you photocopy a page with content on one side only in duplex mode, you pay the cost of a duplex copy. The same applies to printing blank pages, which are charged for.
