Energy performance of buildings
Inter-university certificate in Energy and environmental performance of buildings
The certificate is intended for building contractors, construction site managers, engineers and architects who wish to integrate and apply energy and environmental optimisation technologies and processes in their construction and renovation projects.
This training is organised in collaboration with the University of Mons. Courses allow you to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and implement in an adapted and integrated way the techniques and processes that ensure the building's optimal energy and environmental performance.
The program is based on a method directly applicable to all your projects and is divided into the 3 following topics : environmental performance, envelope performance, heating and ventilation systems.
The TRNSYS Days are intended for people from academic and industrial sectors who wish to learn how to use the TRNSYS software.
TRNSYS (TRaNsient SYstem Simulation tool) is a dynamic thermal simulation software developed by the University of Wisconsin. It is therefore used for the simulation of transient systems. It can be used to evaluate the performance of thermal or electrical energy systems but also to model other types of dynamic systems.
Three training groups are organised, depending on your level and interests : new users, Advanced Building, Advanced HVAC.
