Water, sludge and sediment analysis
Located in Arlon, the Water Resources Laboratory offers analyses of all types of water, sludge and sediments.

Physico-chemical and microbiological analyses
The Water Resources Laboratory offers its services to public organizations, private companies and individuals in the field of sampling, on-site measurements, punctual or continuous, and analysis of various samples:
- Distribution water (potability)
- Urban and industrial wastewater
- Bathing water (swimming pools...)
- Surface water (rivers...)
- Sludge
- Soils
The analyses concern physico-chemical parameters (major elements, forms of nitrogen and phosphorus, heavy metals, chemical oxygen demand, pH, conductivity...) and microbiological parameters (identification and enumeration of germs in the water).
The laboratory is also competent in the study of water wells implantation, the follow-up of wells, the realization and the interpretation of test pumpings.
Accreditations
The Water Resources Laboratory is approved by the Ministry of the Walloon Region for official analyses in the field of surface water protection against pollution.
- Category A : physico-chemical analyses
- Category B : microbiological analyses
The Laboratory is also approved by the Ministry of the Environment of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for the accomplishment of technical tasks of study and verification in the field of the environment (water protection).
