Arlon ma thèse 180

"My Thesis in 180 Seconds" is a competition based on the "Three Minute Thesis" competition, which was first held in 2008 at the University of Queensland, Australia. This competition aims to inform the general public about the richness and interest of scientific research, while developing the communication skills of doctoral students to the general public. Each contestant (doctoral student or doctor graduated during the previous academic year) presents in three minutes a clear, brief and convincing presentation in French of his or her thesis with the support of a single slide.

Each year, the competition takes place in the 6 universities of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation: UCL, ULB, ULiège, UMONS, UNamur and the University of Saint-Louis. Each university nominates candidates to participate in the inter-university final. Then, the winners participate in the international final which brings together the winners from the French-speaking countries involved in the competition.
