Chairman and Secretary of the Examination Board
The assessment of learning activities is the responsibility of an examining board specific to each course. The jury's role is to ensure that examinations run smoothly and that regulations are respected, in the interests of all parties. Their prerogatives are set out in general regulations governing studies and examinations. Chairmen and secretaries are appointed by the Faculty of Science at the beginning of each academic year. The composition of examination boards is published on the Faculty of Science website.
Board of Studies
The Board of Studies is a body for dialogue between supervisors and students set up by the faculties and attached to one or more specific study programs. The Board of Studies advises on all matters relating to training and assessment. In particular, it approves student curricula and dissertation/TFE juries, the content and organization of programs, and settles any problems students may encounter.
Student participation is ensured through elected representatives. Academic Services invites students to elect course delegates at the beginning of the year for each Master's degree and for each of the finalities. Course delegates are also student representatives on the Board of Studies.
